ANGELINA’S ORIGINS
Angelina was a strong woman, born and raised in Isola del Liri.
Her family lived in a tiny apartment downtown with a balcony facing the Great Waterfall located in the middle of Isola del Liri.
Angelina was a physical education teacher during Fascist Saturday and, as soon as World War II ended, she threw her uniform from the balcony in the river.
Angelina was our grandmother and, in memory of her, we have created “Il Balcone di Angelina”, a holiday home to let tourists enjoy the atmosphere of Isola del Liri and feel the local culture.
